Kachy Aam Ka Sharbat recipe (Raw Mango drink)

 "Kachy Aam Ka Sharbat" (Raw Mango Drink) is a refreshing and tangy beverage popular in South Asia, especially during the summer. Here is a simple recipe to make this delicious drink:


Ingredients:

- 2 medium-sized raw mangoes (kachy aam)

- 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

- 1/2 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)

- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder

- 4-5 fresh mint leaves

- Cold water or chilled soda water

- Ice cubes

 Instructions:


1. Prepare the Raw Mango Pulp:

    - Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly.

    - Boil the raw mangoes in water until they become soft (about 15-20 minutes).

    - Let them cool down, then peel the skin and extract the pulp. Discard the seeds.


2. Make the Sharbat Base:

    - In a blender, combine the raw mango pulp, sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, and mint leaves.

    - Blend until you get a smooth puree.


3. Prepare the Sharbat:

    - In a large pitcher, add the raw mango puree.

    - Add cold water or chilled soda water to the puree and mix well. Adjust the consistency according to your preference.

    - Taste and adjust the sweetness and seasoning if necessary.


4. Serve:

    - Pour the kachy aam ka sharbat into serving glasses.

    - Add ice cubes to each glass for extra chill.

    - Garnish with a few mint leaves.


Tips:

- You can store the raw mango puree in the refrigerator for up to a week and make fresh sharbat as needed.
