Homemade pineapple pie recipe
Pineapple Pie Recipe
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and happy. Today, I have a delightful dessert for you: Pineapple Pie. This treat will melt in your mouth and impress any guest.
Ingredients:
- Condensed Milk: Medium size can (adjust sweetness to taste)
- Pineapple: One large tin, without water
- Cream: For garnishing
- Eggs: 6
Method: Microwave
1. Preparation:
- Open the pineapple tin and drain all the water. Separate the pineapple pieces.
2. Blending:
- In a blender, combine the pineapple pieces and condensed milk. Adjust the amount of condensed milk based on your desired sweetness.
- Break the six eggs into the blender.
- Blend the mixture briefly. The goal is to have small pineapple chunks, so avoid over-blending.
3. Cooking:
- Pour the blended mixture into a microwave-safe dish.
- Microwave the mixture for 30 minutes.
4. Checking Doneness:
- After microwaving, use a toothpick to check if the pie is cooked through. Insert the toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, the pie is done.
- Allow the pie to cool completely.
5. Garnishing:
- Once the pie has cooled, garnish it with cream.
- Place the pie in the refrigerator to chill.
6. Serving:
- Serve the pineapple pie cold and enjoy!
Method: Stove
1. Preparation:
- Follow the same steps as above to blend the pineapple, condensed milk, and eggs.
2. Cooking:
- Pour the blended mixture into a large steel vessel.
- On the stove, place a large pot filled with water and bring it to a boil.
- Position the steel vessel containing the pie mixture over the boiling water. This setup is similar to a double boiler, ensuring the mixture cooks evenly with steam.
- Cover the pot and steam for 30 minutes.
3. Checking Doneness:
- After steaming, check the pie with a toothpick to ensure it is cooked through. The toothpick should come out clean.
- Let the pie cool completely.
4. Garnishing:
- Once cooled, garnish the pie with cream.
- Place the pie in the refrigerator to chill.
5. Serving:
- Serve the pineapple pie cold and enjoy!
